俗云:事能知足心常泰，人到無求品自高。清廉之人，知足常樂，不以追求名利為目標，深知生不带來，死亦带不走的道理，自然心寬無求：貪婪之人內心充滿慾望，永無止境，身陷求不得苦，一生憂鬱煩惱。因人各有命，明白命中有時终須有的道理，休其良心本性，奉善而行，遵循天地自然的規則，行事自然也會合乎禮義。
As the saying goes, “The incorruptible are always happy without asking for more; the greedy are always worried about not having enough.” Notwithstanding one’s desire to get what he can’t, he should follow proper protocols in all his actions.
